Adding images to your website is a great way to strengthen your content and make your page more visually interesting, but you shouldn’t forget to add an alt tag to each of these images. 
Alt tags are used to describe what’s shown in an image. This helps to make your website accessible, as screen readers for the blind and visually impaired will read this text out. It also helps to boost your SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), as Google will use this text to help determine what your web page is about.
