The issue
Godfrey Mansell & Co’s old website was not only out of date and unappealing; it was difficult to edit which was causing frustration for their marketing leader, Naomi. It was slow, lacked functionality, and the business had quite simply outgrown it.
The new website remit was comprehensive. Graham Cook from the accountancy firm wanted to add:
Fresh content regularly with a blog
Contact form that integrated with their CRM system
Website integration with their accounting system, for customer log in and account management
The solution
It’seeze Birmingham proposed creating a new Max website that not only incorporated Godfrey Mansell & Co’s refreshed branding and corporate colours but also combined professional design with unlimited pages and integration with their internal systems.
The new site also includes an it’seeze editing system, making it easy for Godfrey Mansell employees to update the website themselves, as and when required.
It’seeze Birmingham’s designer explains: “I wanted to design a site that’s clean but colourful. We choose a semi-transparent navigation, slide-out icons, as well as parallax scrolling sections and a super footer.
I also wanted to include max width areas and equal height content options to ‘lift’ the sites appeal. Part of this was to use a font that matched well with the company’s branding and logo typeface, so I chose a font called Poppins.”
The result
Accountants Godfrey Mansell & Co, now have a new website that is bright, refreshing and appealing, combining their corporate colours and branding in an innovative way.
As well as ensuring the website has plenty of capacity for expansion as the company grows, it also offers its clients enhanced functionality. It’s clear and easy to navigate, incorporating a client portal with a simple, secure login, enabling their clients and the firm to access their accounts more readily.
We’ve also incorporated their CRM system with their website contact form, ensuring all contact information is automatically captured. In addition, as part of their client portal, we’ve linked the website with their accounting system. This allows their customers to log in independently and manage their accounts.
