Even in the digital era, creating a responsive website in Birmingham is not simply a matter of finding an agency that’s technically brilliant. You also need a local team that’s willing to meet up with you, brainstorm ideas, listen acutely and provide a high degree of personal customer service.

That’s one of the main reasons we won the contract to create a new website for a major project led by Aston University.
Thinking of a new website? Get in touch.
The UK-Centric Supply Chains initiative needed a clear and impactful digital platform. The brief called for regular face-to-face meetings and discussions, as well as prompt responses to calls and emails. The it'seeze team behind this website design in Birmingham made sure we were available for meetings at Aston University, to optimise the time the client invested in creating a project website.

Public funded websites bring strict controls

UK-Centric Supply Chains is partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund. This brings with it a need for cost transparency and control. This was something it'seeze Web Design Birmingham could easily accommodate, as we have a strong track record for clear pricing and accountability, as well as a hands-on approach that makes value for money crystal clear.

We also provide ongoing website support as part of the package, which is invaluable to the team involved with the project. This includes affordable web design, domain hosting, and setting up a dedicated email for the project.

We also included training for designated staff within UK-Centric Supply Chains. This equipped them with the skills and confidence to add to and update the website.

Designing branded websites for large projects

UK-Centric Supply Chains is a project lead by the Aston Logistics & Systems Institute, within the School of Engineering and Applied Science at Aston University. It has a far-reaching and relatively complex remit, which needed to be explained well on its website.

Working with manufacturing, engineering, automotive and food and drink companies, UK-Centric Supply Chains maps and assesses supply chains. It then pinpoints ways to make improvements, maximising UK-based suppliers.

The pivotal aspect of the creative website design was to incorporate the brand colours. We also crafted a futuristic, fresh motif that makes it easy to scan pages and click through to calls to action.

The design of the website did offer a degree of challenge, as it was vital to create imagery to reflect the brand identity and vision of the project, and to ensure site visitors had an instant ‘window’ into what UK-Centric Supply Chains aims to achieve. We worked closely with our design team to pool ideas and find strong visual content.

Of course, the client also benefited from the SEO and site navigation features that are standard in all our websites.
